our
Values
-
RPI students have a unique sense of dedication to their craft, describable only as a 'fervor' for that which makes them tick. AUR is committed to cultivating an environment that encourages this attitude of academic diligence in everything we do, research or otherwise.
-
Fervor is important, but offers little utility if not actionable- too often at universities, student passion goes unfed from lack of hands-on experience. Exposing research opportunities (within the Institute and beyond) to the student body, and equipping those interested to tackle them head on, is of supreme importance to AUR.
-
Experience without creativity is nothing more than a job. Proposing ideas can be difficult, but the best research pitch is a changeup - projects that break the mold are projects that change the world. That's why AUR is committed to advocating to students the immense value of getting creative with research ideas.
